I began trading in fine wines when the 1990 Bordeaux vintage was the first released. In 2000, another auspicious vintage, I set up Christopher Keiller Fine Wine Services. It was my intention to utilise the advantages that modern internet technology could provide and to combine this with in depth knowledge of fine wine and the principles of personal service. Twenty years on and my business has grown considerably since its inception, but this principle is still very much at the heart of the business and a key to the company’s success.
Each client is an individual and they are treated as such. Over time, we establish a client profile that enables us to ‘match’ rare wines and search out particularly hard to source wines for specific client needs. Our attention to detail has ensured a very loyal and global customer base.
Although much of our efforts are concentrated on Fine Bordeaux, Burgundy and the very best wines from producers around the world, we also offer an extensive range of quality wines for every occasion. If that isn’t enough and you can’t find what you are looking for, we are happy to try and locate exactly what you require from our extensive network of suppliers.
Should you wish to store your wines, under bond or duty paid, our customer reserves are held at Vinotheque, where the carefully controlled environment will ensure your wines mature under perfect conditions.
