Ordering
You can place an order through this website, (enquiry form) by email (email address) or by telephone on 01694 723642. We would prefer the minimum order to be 1 case but we will try to accommodate mixed cases or single rare bottles where stocks allow.
We will respond as soon as we are able and forward an invoice once we have confirmed that we have stock available to fulfill your order. All wines are sold subject to availability. Errors and omissions excepted.
Payment is due on receipt of invoice. Payment is accepted by cheque or bank transfer, details of which will be sent with your invoice.
Delivery to UK mainland destinations, excluding Scotland, is £17.50 excluding VAT per consignment. Other destinations will be charged at cost. We can arrange to deliver or recommend a reliable shipper for most international destinations and a quotation can supplied at the time of order. All orders must be paid for in full before export.
You undertake to inspect all goods on delivery and to notify ourselves or our carrier of any shortage or damage. You will be deemed to have accepted the goods as satisfying your order three days after delivery and therefore you will not be entitled to reject goods for any reason.
‘Under bond’ or ‘Duty Paid’ transfers from our bonded warehouse to other bonded warehouses will be charged at cost.
All prices are excluding VAT. ‘Duty Paid’ (DP) prices are wines held where the UK Duty has been paid but are excluding VAT. ‘In Bond’ (IB) prices are exclusive of Duty and VAT. Duty and VAT will be liable at the time of delivery excepting ‘under bond’ deliveries between bonded warehouses and export outside the UK.
Force Majeure:
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to meet our obligations occasioned by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
