I thought you might like to know that I opened on Friday the bottle of 1959 Lafite I purchased from you a few months ago – and it was superb. Astonishingly youthful with classic cedar and cigar box nose and a lush full palate it was a great classic that seems like it will continue to drink well for another 20+ years. A wonderful gift for my friend’s 58th birthday.
I just wanted to say thank you for your excellent service, as always. The wines arrived this afternoon in perfect condition – the metallic, thermal wrapping inside the box was a very welcome surprise! A great idea in this heat!
